Following a competitive tender process, Avenue Primary School appointed Bell Associates as architects and project managers to prepare a master plan and feasibility study to enable the school to become four form entry.  The project involved major refurbishment/alteration works to the existing buildings over numerous phases whilst allowing the school to remain open throughout the development. Works include construction of a new early years block; a new assembly dining hall; two further blocks of classrooms and new staffroom facilities.

Bell Associates were also appointed as architects and project managers for a classroom extension at Avenue School.  Following a feasibility study to identify possible options to accommodate a block of four classrooms, a single storey classroom block was built above an existing single storey classroom block together with a new façade treatment.  This phase is now completed.
