Bell Associates were asked to take part in a competition to provide a feasibility scheme for a new Sports Pavilion and Clubhouse for a leading independent day school in Wimbledon, South London.

The brief was to develop a new sports pavilion to provide the school with a landmark structure that underlined the school’s aspirations and achievements whilst responding to and reflecting its immediate environment.

Our proposal was for a low level two storey building which accommodated reception and changing facilities at ground floor with level access off the car-park and function and entertainment rooms at first floor.  A generous balcony opened directly from the large hall to provide a stunning area to watch matches taking place on the surrounding pitches.
